Your Wacom tablet, set up the Wacom way.
A free alternative to the Wacom driver for Apple silicon Macs. Wacom’s last Intuos driver only supports up to macOS 11. The Tablet App for Mac takes over from there, and brings back to life your trusted Wacom tablets.
The Tablet App for Mac is laid out like the original Wacom app interface, so there is nothing new to learn. Tested with a Wacom Intuos4 on macOS 27 Golden Gate on an Apple silicon Mac.
macOS 15 or later · Apple silicon · What is newIf Version 14 doesn't work for you, go back to Version 13 or Version 12.
ATTENTION: TO INSTALL IT, FOLLOW THESE STEPS
If the Wacom driver is installed, remove it first with Wacom's own uninstaller (Applications › Wacom Tablet › Wacom Tablet Utility), then restart your Mac.
- Open the downloaded file (Tablet-App-for-Mac.dmg), and drag Tablet App for Mac onto the Applications folder.
- Open the app from Applications. If Not Opened appears, click Done, not Move to Bin.

- Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway.

- macOS asks once more. Click Open Anyway, not the blue Move to Bin button.

- Confirm with Touch ID, or click Use Password… and enter your Mac login password.

- In System Settings › Privacy & Security › Input Monitoring, switch on Tablet App for Mac. This lets the app read your pen.

- In System Settings › Privacy & Security › Device Control and Data Access (called Accessibility on older macOS), switch on Tablet App for Mac. This lets the pen move the pointer.

- Quit the app and open it again.
Tip: if the pen still doesn't move the pointer, select Tablet App for Mac in those two lists, remove it with −, add it again with +, then reopen the app. Need more help? See the user manual.

What is new in Version 14
- Check for updates now lets you choose: the newest stable version, or try a BETA (not tested yet). On a BETA, Go back returns you to the stable version.
- Separate settings for each pen: each extra pen gets its own tile in the Tool row, with its own tip, eraser and side-button settings.
- Tablet › Application +: add several apps at once with Command-click.
- New + and − buttons on the Device and Tool rows.
- Fixed: setup no longer opens at every start because of an empty Wacom folder left in Applications.
